Can you believe these bloggers only got ONE picture of themselves together that day?! I'm on the left, she's on the right, sisters anyone??
After hanging with Cassie and her kids, on the way home, I was left with the incredible feeling that I REALLY like them. Her son chatted easily with us and her daughter played with James and "mommyed" him in such a sweet way. I wish we lived closer so we could get together more.
And I was ecstatic that Cassie snapped some pictures of me and James since I don't think I have any of us at the beach. The water was perfect and he had so much fun splashing and jumping in the waves.
Please tell me summer isn't ending!!

ReplyDeleteI'm hating the thought of summer ending too...just love walking around in bare feet and spending days at the beach and having the windows open. Took your advice on bringing my camera to the beach in a ziploc bag recently and so glad I did!

ReplyDeleteYou all look so cute together- yes, totally could be sisters - beautiful girls! Such fun pics of the kids too - little mommies are the best huh? I think my daughter is about the same age as Cassie's - I bet they'd be best buds - mine has the mothering act down pretty good. ;)

ReplyDeleteI just found your blog and have been loving it! I got really excited about this post because we are moving down to Galveston in a few months (it will be a nice change from Wisconsin winters!) and it looks amazing - definitely makes the late night packing look like it's worth it :)
